Programme of initiatives

The priority is to set up joint ways of facilitating and encouraging visits to the two attractions on either side of the border. The programme is based on the respective skills of each venue: life sciences at La Garenne Zoo, and space science together with human and social sciences at the Espace des Mondes Polaires.

Initiatives are focused on three areas :

1 – The development of joint educational tourism offerings open to all audiences (individuals, families, groups, schools)

  • Common theme of “Explorer journeys”

  • Educational workshops

  • Shared educational resources for staff

2 – Creation of coordinated cultural events

  • Co-curation of a temporary exhibit “Traces et indices” (Signs and Clues)

3 – Implementation of joint communication initiatives
